Gender

The law requires that males and females in the workplace should be treated equally and subject to the same policies, standards and practices in all phases of the employment process, including recruiting, hiring, firing, promotions, training, compensation, working conditions, benefits, and others. The law against gender discrimination may cover issues such as sexual harassment, equal pay, “glass ceiling”, pregnancy discrimination, marital or parental status discrimination, and lactation rights.
